"The Earth Belongs to Ha-Shem and the Fullness Thereof."
There is but One God.
Ha-Shem is the Creator and Sustainer of all that is.
Whoever you are, Jew or Gentile, you are a child of Ha-Shem
If you're neither Jewish nor Christian, but you believe in Ha-Shem, the One True God, the God of Israel, or if you're looking for the truth among the myriad conflicting beliefs, then this web site may be for you because the Good News is that the God of the whole world has already accepted you and is waiting for you to come Home.
The Tetragrammaton is the Holiest of all Names. It is pronounced in various ways by different people. The most common are Yahveh, Yahweh or Jehovah (YeHoVaH). The correct pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton is not known and will not be known until Moshiach (Messiah) comes and reveals it to the world (Rev 19:12). Historically, whenever Jews see the Holy Name written, they have normally replaced it with the word Adonai or "Lord," which is why most Bibles translates the Holy Name as Lord. The reason for this is, that the Name is so Holy one must be very careful to use it with utter respect. For instance, in the Authorized King James Version we find the Name translated as:
- LORD: 6510 times
- GOD: 4 times
- And as JEHOVAH: 4 times
.
Another common substitution is Ha-Shem, literally "the Name." I will employ this one throughout this section of the site as it acknowledges what is being substituted.
The teachings of Rebbe Y'shua ("Master Jesus") were arguably the purest ever spoken on this earth. He was sent to our planet to teach the Way of Ha-Shem so that everyone could know divine favor, he came to open the doors of grace to all Jews and Noahides (the non-Jewish descendants of Noah), in order that everyone could come to the God of Israel.
As he foretold (Matthew 21:31-46), Rebbe Y'shua's people largely rejected his message, but certain Jews and many Gentiles flocked to his disciples following his death, and what Acts 24:25 refers to as "the Sect of Nazarene" was born. The relationship between the Jews and the followers of Rebbe Y'shua was a turbulent one, due mainly to the Master's teachings on the Torah. Like the Karaite Jews, Rebbe Y'shua rejected the Oral Torah as the inspired word of Ha-Shem. As a commentary, it had its uses, but it was not to be accepted as Torah. He also questioned the literalist understandings of the Written Torah being taught by the rabbis. Soon the Jews and Noahides who accepted the teachings of Rebbe Y'shua became estranged from the rest of Judaism and the Noahide Nazarenes became an independent movement within Judaism, not unlike today's Reform or Reconstructionist Movements.
For reasons discussed elsewhere on this site, circa 312 CE Emperor Flavius Valerius Constantinus of Rome decided to establish a new religion by blending the teachings of the various Roman Pagan religions with the growing Jewish Sect of Noahide Nazarenes. What resulted was a new religious system known as the Roman Universal Church, more popularly called by its translation, the Roman Catholic Church.
In time this global organization split into the Eastern (Orthodox) and Western (Roman) Catholic Churches. From the Roman Church came the Anglican or Church of England, followed by the Protestant Reformation and innumerable orders, denominations and sects. Today Christianity remains the largest religion on Earth, although Islam appears to be catching up and, generally speaking, is a much more devout faith.
The blending of Pagan and Noahide Nazarene traditions into this new religious and political entity changed the course of history and severely compromised the teachings of Rebbe Y'shua. It also promoted global anti-Semitism as the new religion began competing with both Jews and Noahide Nazarenes who refused to convert, branding them as "Judaizers."
This site represents an attempt to rediscover the Way of Rebbe Y'shua, the Noahide Nazarene Way. There is no claim to ancient roots or concealed knowledge here, only a sincere desire to rediscover the first of all religions, the Noahide Way as presented by Rebbe Y'shua and his first century followers.
Along the left side of this page you find links to various articles about the Noahide Nazarene Way.
